All Around The Town – Week of February 22nd
This last week has been a return to normal. That is – not working 16 hours a day.
I spent my Saturday having a lovely lunch with my friend Josh at Le Tout-Paris in the Cheval Blanc hotel. They have my favorite sole meunière. I picked up flowers on my way home to make things feel like spring. It is in the fifites here and the Boutros has once again taken to his perch above the tourists and dogs.
I worked and lunched my week away (after a bit of an ear infection from my swim at the Ritz).
On Friday, I had to go to the lab to get me blood tests (only $20 with no insurance) and picked up my funky new Kurt Geiger bag at Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées. My French client pays for my car service so even errands are a treat.
I can feel spring in the air and it feels good to get to run around in sweater again.
